After three years development and accumulation, China International
Tea Packing Design Competition has grown up to be an influential
contest of the industry and achieved assistance from tea producers
of both domestic and foreign industries, the designing field
and relevant professionals. The contestants of the contest are
coming from the professional designing institutes and designing
companies. At the same time, the quality and quantity of the
works are increasing each year.
The 4th China International Tea Packing Design Competition
in 2007 will be jointly sponsored by the organization party,
China National Export Commodities Packing Research Institute
and Package and Design Magazine. The awarded works will be
recommended to join into the World Star contest and World
Student Star contest in priority.
To bind closely as a tie between the contest and market,
this contest will solicit the designing works especially for
the domestic famous tea enterprises to adapt the works to
the practical production.
Contest Content:
Tea package design for brandnames
Judging Criteria:
The contest will judge the works by the standards of the
theme, creativity and innovation, practical uses and techniques.
The judging board are formed as follows:
Qualified expert and professionals in and abroad
1. Please 1) print the work design on a piece of A3-size paper（297x420mm）and
2) take photos for the model. Please attach the photos and
the contest registration form at the back of the printed work.
3)A CD including all the above materials is required.
2. All the contest works must be original and never been published
or copied. To show the justice of contest, any symbols and
marks irrelevant are not allowed to appear on the work. Contestants
should sign the name in the blank to show the agreement that
“I fully agree with the decision of the judging panel. Any
consequences in case of misbehavior or illegal copy will be
undertaken by myself”, or the work will not be considered.
A brief design introduction is needed (refer to design and
creation column of “contest application chart”)
3. The contest is divided into professional group and students
group and please fill in all the necessary information clearly
in the contest application form.
4. The designing work will not be sent back and please keep
one copy by yourself and sign to agree with the Copy Right
Transfer Agreement.
Participation Fee
30 yuan for single work and 50 yuan for series work (over
3 pieces)

Awards:
The contest has golden, silver, bronze and award of listing.
The winner will receive following benefits:
1. Professional group:
1. 2 Golden award: 8000 yuan Prize and a certificate, and
it will participate the World Star package contest when it
is adopted by the enterprise.
2. 3 silver award: 4000 yuan Prize and a certificate, and
it will participate the World Star package contest when it
is adopted by the enterprise.
3. 8 bronze award: 1000 yuan prize and certificate
4. 30 excellence award: Certificate and a Package Design magazine
that printed with contest works.
2. Student group:
1. 2 Golden award: 4000 yuan Prize and a certificate, and
recommend to join the World Student Star
2. 4 silver award: 1000 yuan Prize and a certificate, and
recommend to join the World Student Star
3. 8 bronze award: Package Design magazine bond edition in
2007 and certificate, and recommend to join the World Student
Star
4. 30 excellence award: Certificate and a Package Design magazine
that printed with contest works.
