In year 2004, 2005, we organize the
China Tea Contest and auction and achieved big success. To
make the international tea practice and China tea practice
learn more about each other, we will develop the 2006 appreciation
and quality tea contest into an international event.
The judging board will include the experts from China, USA,
and India, and the process will be more transparent, standard,
and scientific.
Our theme is still “let the China teas go to the world, and
let the world drink China teas”, meanwhile, with the coming
of Olympics, we will introduce more foreign teas to the Chinese
consumers and tea lovers, especially young generations.
The winning works will be named as “country gift tea” and
promoted in a series of tea events in year 2006 and 2007.
Our contest is the best channel for establishing brand names,
and welcome to participate.

I Basic rules
The company applying for contest and auction should be the identity
registered and admitted in the government. The products should
be green or organic teas of this season, approved by the authorization
center, or approved by the Beijing Bureau of Quality and Technology
Supervision.
The weight of the sample sent for application should be at least
500g；the weight of the total amount of tea for contest and auction
should be at least 2.5kg，in accordance with the quality of the
tea sample sent for application. Otherwise, the qualification
for contest and auction will be cancelled at once.
II Contest and auction Procedures
The contest and auction samples will be coded without any
information about its source for the sake of objectivity,
accuracy and justice.
The judging standards for tea quality are Form, Scent, Soup,
Taste, and Leaves.
III Prize for Winners
Gold, Silver, and Bronze Prize will be chosen out.
VI Contest and auction Qualification Confirmation
and Methods
Contest and auction Qualification Confirmation
1. The qualification should be confirmed by the judging board.
2. The contest and auction company should participate in China
Tea Expo .
Application Formalities
1. Learn about the contest and auction by calling us or visiting
website: www.teawindow.com
2. Fill in the tea sample form and send the form to CTE organizing
committee.
3. Mail the tea contest and auction sample to CTE and deposit
RMB 2500 of the judging cost.
4. Reserve 2.5kg tea products of the same quality of the sample
as the bidder, which should be reserved by the bidding company.
Note
· Deadline:
The deadline for application: July 25, 2006
The deadline for sample submission: July 31, 2006
The appreciation process will be released in the website,
and please check on time.
· The contest and auction products
should be produced in year 2006, exclusive of Pu’er. The brief
background introduction of the products is necessary (Source
and date).
